“Rovereto bids farewell to Giuseppe Piamarta’s smile” Giuseppe Piamarta, known to everyone as Beppe, passed away suddenly, leaving a great void in the lives of those who knew him. The obituary remembers him as a cheerful, generous and deeply compassionate man, capable of bringing a smile, a listening ear and a sense of closeness to others. Born in 1964, he had been running ‘Punto d’Approdo’ since 1997, a social cooperative that supports women and children in need. His commitment to helping the most vulnerable was a true way of life, lived with determination, kindness and responsibility. A former footballer, parish youth leader and a guiding light for many young people, Beppe knew how to engage people with his energy and cheerfulness. He is survived by his wife Fabiola, his children Anna, Gabriele and Davide, and the memory of a kind, welcoming and radiant presence.

President and founder of the Punto d’Approdo cooperative, she is regarded as a figure of great value to Rovereto and to the social sector. Throughout her life, she has combined her work at the court registry with looking after her family and her public service. She served as a town councillor for the Popolari party and as a district councillor for Lizzanella, distinguishing herself through her quiet, steadfast and practical work on behalf of the most vulnerable, particularly women in difficulty. Those who knew her describe her as a humble, attentive and deeply committed person, who remained active right to the end despite her illness. Her passing leaves a great void in the co-operative and in the town.
Casa L’Approdo has been dedicated to Lucia, founder of the Co-operative and a shining example of social commitment for the entire community of Rovereto.

Amedea’s sudden passing leaves us with a profound grief that is difficult to put into words. For many years, she was a cherished presence at Casa Fiordaliso, where every week, with simplicity and kindness, she supported the mothers and their children as they prepared meals, did their sewing and carried out their daily tasks. With her smile, her helpfulness and her big heart, Amedea knew how to bring joy, comfort and sincere advice. For many of our guests, she was like a second mother, a figure capable of offering affection, a listening ear and a sense of closeness. She regarded Casa Fiordaliso as a second family and was always there for moments of togetherness and sharing. Her memory will live on in the children, the mums, the staff and throughout the Cooperative, which held her in high esteem and loved her as a member too. Thank you, Amedea, for everything you gave. We are certain that, alongside your dear Marcello, you will continue to watch over those who were lucky enough to know you with your smile.
